Played this game before starting a career in machining to make sure it’s something I’d actually enjoy doing, and the answer turned out to be a clear yes. Not sure why it only says 1 hour on record though, that’s definitely not right.
I now work in a machine shop operating CNC milling machines and have finally found a job I’m genuinely happy with that actually pays well

userBe a tradeschool teacher.
Deal with these machines all day.
Go home. Play with them digitally too.
I need a psychologist.
Jokes aside, if you’re a beginner you can actually learn quite a bit from this.
If you’re not, its still fun to let the wife have a go without the cost of breaking a tool or the entire spindle.

userA very niche but fun game, I hope additional tools are added later on such as a lathe, bandsaw, grinder, etc. It would be the ultimate workshop simulator.
As it currently stands I’m quite impressed by the level of detail so I would recommend trying it.

userSaved me $8,000 on a mill, so that was pretty cool.

userGreat simulation. I appreciate the rapid updates and the serious approach. It reminds me of Wrench or PC Building Simulator.
